I hastily nabbed this Miu Miu 2008 dress (really a top-skirt coordinate) as soon as I saw it on sale; the collection was one of my favorites, with plunging ballet-inspired necklines and full Lolita skirts. Sadly, the dress is two sizes too big (the top is larger than the seller marked), so I’m still debating whether or not to pass it on to a better owner.

On Friday I’m leaving for New Orleans, one of my favorite cities (it’s also where my family is from). I’m looking forward to staying in a haunted French Quarter hotel, eating beignets, listening to jazz, and drinking hand grenades. I can’t wait – I’ve been counting down the days for weeks!

Also, I want to thank my sister Lulu for fixing my hair and putting up with countless photoshoots for this blog. She’s moving across the country in a few weeks and I’m not sure what I’m going to do without her!
